We Three and the Death Rattle released their debut album ‘WTATDR’ on CD and download via PAW//PURR on February 12th 2014. This followed their acclaimed 7” singles ‘Inpatients/Split Lips’ and ‘Hey Detonator!', which set the indie blogs buzzing; picking up airplay on BBC6, Amazing radio, XFM’s X-posure and woke listeners up with a bang on Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio show. The band have been tipped in The Guardian, Dazed & Confused and played live in session on XFM with John Kennedy just weeks after forming – an experience he described as ‘incredibly exciting’. XFM X-Posure also made WTATDR’s dynamite demo Double or Quits their ‘Hot One’ for a week, following this with a storming live show at ‘John Kennedy presents: The remedy’.

Over the past few years the distortion-fuelled 3 piece have shared stages with The Kills, Craig Finn of the Hold Steady, Bo Ningen, The Wytches, Shonen Knife, Come, Josh T Pearson, Slaves and David Lynch’s new favourite muse, Chrysta Bell. WTATDR were hand-picked by Josh T Pearson and ATP to appear at London’s Barbican venue for ‘ATP presents: an evening with Josh T Pearson'. After smuggling their theremin through customs, WTATDR also appeared at MaMa Festival in Paris. The band are now working on their sophomore album.
